SSON and POWER collaborate to lift the self esteem of a group of teenagers who have been attending this program (POWER) to learn all about STD prevention especially HIV. They learn about real life situations that help them become familiar with what to do in a sticky situation. The stylist who form this organization (SSON) will be dedicating their time to provide the services of the teens choice at no cost. This event starts at 9 am and goes on until 3pm on Monday, November 24, 2008. The event will be hosted by Tomeka's Beauty located 1980 Springfield Ave. in Maplewood, NJ. Products have been donated by Independent Beauty Supply of Jersey City, NJ to aid the stylist with their services. Thank You Tomeka's Beauty, Independent Beauty and last but not least Thanks to the SSON members who are spending their time giving back to the community!!!! |
